that would be disastrous for Twitter. Jack Dorsey has already publicly said Twitter needs new leadership, is at odds with the board, and has called Musk the singular option that can fix twitter’s problems. Twitter has also been further exposed in its political bias.
Now reports are that the deal is on hold pending verification of the claim that fake/ spam accounts are <5% of total accounts. If it comes out that it is actually more than that, and everything falls through, Twitter stock will plummet and it will always carry the reputation of being a mess filled with fake accounts.
