They're expensive, but if you want the "Disney Experience" for kids, it beats
the parks by a long margin. They are set up SO well for the kids. They can be in the kids clubs as little or as much as you/they want them to be. Constant character interactions. Rapunzel spontaneously started playing hide and seek with my kids in the Atruim. It's such an easy vacation too, because everything is lined up for you. The servers get to know your kids' orders, so they'll have mac and cheese waiting for them as you sit down to dinner. Decent amount of adult stuff to do too. The Disney island is great too. They have a kids club on the island so the grownups can take off for the adults only section that has the ribeye steaks and lobster in the lunch buffet.

The cruises are how my family is gonna get their Disney fix every couple years. I'm not dealing with parks any more.
