I was a lawyer at a large Nevada firm handling large cases, for big clients, against multinational law firms. Successful. Just didn’t enjoy it much but I was getting paid very well.

I got invited to join a small business as in house counsel and anything else the business needs. The business encourages an entrepreneurial side of me to pursue ideas.

I’m just a month in but so far I am enjoying myself a lot more in my work. I get equity in the business deals and that is exciting. Already inked two deals that could be big. Saved up plenty of money so should be good for some time. But haven’t made a dime yet.

I’m hoping this works out because it is a fun way to live.
