wasn't a thing for boys where I grew up so I went to coaching workshops. Before the internet, I checked out instructional soccer videos from the library. I was able to contact a semi-pro coach and paid him to do a practice for/with me. Watching him coach made me realize the kids could have lots of fun, and that I could expect allot from them. After that, I changed my approach, and all four boys played in the championship games each year. It was a fun time. I miss those days and hope I can coach some of my grandkids. Enjoy them while you can!
