TN is just following the example of the vast majority of SEC teams that never
Leave the south for any of their games and then thump their chest about just how awesome they are.
Don't get me wrong here, the SEC still likely wins those games even if they do leave the south but sometimes they might just lose. And their egos can't take that. Easier to just stay in the south and play the Sun Belt conf OOC and chant SEC SEC SEC.
