Looking at the numbers Zavodnik seems like the obvious choice.

Though I will say that Blair (at first glance, I haven't followed women's softball) does seem like the third best choice among batters.

The one argument possibly in favor of Blair is defense. She's a shortstop while Zavodnik is an OF and Ava is a 1B.

I haven't seen any defense, but is it possible Blair is doing moe compared to a replacement SS than Zavodnik is as compared to a replacement COF?
