Personally, I always want best fit, but if I have to choose, I prefer female directing females. However, when NBA'ers were asked about Becky Hammon, each of them said essentially the same thing, "Who cares? If you know x's and o's that's what we care about man." I care about the girls, environment, culture and of course, winning. But not winning at all costs. Nope. Not at all and any costs. BYU's been there before. I want us to always be classy.
