almost every year if you could get them all to sign at BYU.
That is BYU's ceiling, and where the emphasis in recruiting should be, not diamonds in the rough, there have been plenty of very talented football players with LDS ties that have taken their talents elsewhere the last decade that could have greatly raised the talent level at BYU.
I think just as a matter of makeup of most LDS players, you likely get more with less just as a function of what they typically bring to the table, you don't have many of those recruits flopping in college because of legal and or academic issues which are common at most other universities (at least the ones that have real academics and not fake academics...cough UNC...and half of the P5 teams)
