her father is nearly killed by terrorists, her estranged husband (Paul) comes back into the picture as she is trying to deepen her relationship with Jack, she is nearly killed while looking at hotel security footage with Jack, CTU suspects Paul of being involved with the terrorists, she watches Jack torture Paul only to confirm his innocence, she starts to rekindle her feelings for Paul only for him to get shot, Jack intervenes with the surgery so the doctor saves someone else and Paul dies on the operating table, she finds out her brother was the one that (unknowingly) allowed the terrorists to kidnap her and her father in the first place, she thinks Jack is dead at the end of the season.

All that in 24 hours. Amazing. Season 4 was great.
