There was a reason Majerus dropped Whiting as his PG option (granted, how he subsequently treated Trent was a different matter; reportedly he wasn't very nice. Surprise, surprise.).

It was the same basic reason, I presume, that Cleveland was forced to insert Montague back into the rotation at the end of Trent's Sr season.

(And for all I know Trent has made sure his son's handles are stronger than his were.)
