In the 60s & 70s, I saw movies at the Highland Drive-in in SLC. Midvale had a sketchy drive-in called the Ute.
For indoor movies, I usually went to the Villa (where I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark) or the Fox theater out at Cottonwood Mall (where I saw For Your Eyes Only). All of the above theaters (other than the Ute) were on Highland Drive. Here's an old photo of the Highland Drive-in from the front looking west.
