I’ve had to stitch up injuries on my kids a few times. It can get traumatic.
When my daughter was about 3 or 4 she was pleading for me to stop after I injected the lidocaine: “PLEASE, DADDY! I’LL BE GOOD!” Just about broke my heart.
But her chin looks a lot better because of it. And now she knows she can do hard things. And so can I, haha.
