the outcome, even if your team wins. To me the enjoyment of watching sports is the excitement of seeing your team score, or stop the other team, because it increases the chances of winning. If you already know they are going to win the excitement is completely gone for me. There is an element of suspense, where the outcome is still uncertain that is very important.
