Family in the ward had a dad who fell a story or 2 in a construction accident

and had some kind of head damage for which he was in the hospital for weeks. It completely changed his personality and ended in him divorcing his wife and estranging himself from the family fairly shortly afterwards. I have no doubt there was some permanent brain injury that happened that caused most of it.
