just fine, and plenty of marriages that seem to have happened for all the right reasons fail. Sure—one can bet against any marriage, and they’ll be right many times. But it’s impossible to actually predict.

The fact that so many of the marriages that DO fail tend to be because of financial stress makes me think that this marriage probably has just as good of a chance as any two frumpy BYU kids that met at a singles ward.
