The thing BYU's defense needs to improve the most (and there really isn't a close second) is 1st down rush defense

Maybe don't put the LBs so deep, and teach them to play downhill. And let's hope the DL can get off a block.

I'd rather give up a few yards on third and short than many on third and short.
