I think it happened pretty early in elementary school when I realized that turning in incomplete assignments didn't really matter all that much. I think all I cared about was that I didn't "flunk" that grade and get held back a year.

In college I figured out really quickly that "C's get degrees," and I just wanted to be done. I loved the college lifestyle, but I hated college.
