In App Store, click on your picture in the top right corner. Then tap on Purchased. tap on My Purchases.
Scroll to the app you want to block, it should have a cloud icon instead of “Open”
Swipe the app to the left and click “Hide”
If there are other account options besides “My Purchases,” repeat for those
Now they’ll have to search for it in the App Store, and it should show “Get” and require approval again instead of the cloud icon that just allows them to re-download it.
