For those struggling with the economic direction we are currently in.
Saw this as a comment to a reaction to this song and given the circumstances today I thought it was apropos

("Give me a job, give me security, give me a chance to survive." Written during the Carter administration when inflation and unemployment were both high. Tommy Shaw was writing about the dignity of work. The dignity of making your own way. The dignity of taking care of your family- even when the work sucks.
So tomorrow I'll get up at 3:30, walk the dog, clock in by 5:00, put in 9 hours before a three day weekend, wearing a knee brace and a COVID-19 mask in the worst Michigan heatwave in years. Dignity man. Taking care of the family.)
