They will definitely stick around, but like Crypto, most projects will die - they have certainly seen their fair share of scams. NFTs were a big part of the bull market and onboarded a lot of people to the crypto space, like artists, non-technical folks and others that just saw an opportunity to leverage their creative talents and business acumen in the space.

NFTs can go beyond just JPEGs with verified ownership. Their are a lot of implementations around music, tickets/events, digital identity, certifications, gaming, and numerous other implementations. Will be interesting to see how it changes over time
