I'm looking at these groupings as packages. Because conferences have an even number of teams you need to find another pair from the same conferences to get the scheduling for that final week to work out.

I thought it would be cool for Pitt and West Virginia to play that week. The only complimentary pairing I could see was for the Miami UCF pair.

As it is now in the ACC there's Pitt and Miami are left without a good natural rival that week so you see a rotation of ACC matchups for these two teams that weekend.

I like the idea of Cincinnati-Memphis. You could pair UCF and USF with it.
