We live in San Diego and are looking for the "Torrey Pines" of the Canadian Rockies i.e. places that deliver gorgeous experiences without having to hike 4+ miles or camp, etc.

Staying in downtown Banff with a rental pickup truck.

Have all day Wed-Sat to explore but I'm not in great shape right now so not looking to be too ambitious that way.

Lake Louise day + gondola ride up there seems like a given. Ice fields look pretty awesome.
