And that is what makes them both great. If you look at Duncan's career stats, they aren't actually that incredible. And this is coming from someone who absolutely loves Duncan. He is my all-time favorite player. But Duncan was just such a good locker room dude. He consistently took smaller contracts. He let Pop yell at him and coach him up so that the other players would buy in and trust Pop. He had ZERO ego. He didn't want a farewell tour or any publicity. He was boring.

Steph isn't boring or taking pay cuts, but he is completely selfless in sharing the limelight and has zero ego. That is what truly makes Steph and Duncan so great IMO. They are the best NBA superstar teammates of all time.

That is what also makes KD such a moron. You had Steph as a teammate and you traded that for Kyrie because you wanted more credit. Have fun wasting the last few years of your prime.
