Was just randomly thinking about how Apple ( I’m sure there’s others that do the same ) requires you have you phone plugged in order to execute an update.
That’s actually a very smart way to execute an update. It decreases failure rates by basically eliminating the point of failure by requiring a pre-req before an update will execute.
Was just curious of other examples people have encountered where a problems likelihood is dramatically decreased by requiring a pre-req before whatever will occur.
