I am betting the "special alignment" is including some rear adjustable upper
control arms that are $100 each part plus labor to replace. They probably add $50 to each part and labor is about 1 1/2 hours and then the $150 alignment.
You can probably do without those, but your tires will wear irregularly and need earlier replacement. I have an odyssey.

I shredded my tire this morning. Took it into Discount Tire, in Orem, replaced tire because it was under warranty.
