I sometimes get travel insurance for out of US travel, the last while largely to cover extra expenses if COVID testing keeps me out of the US for an additional week or two. Or if we hit the jackpot and require an emergency medical evacuation to the US.

But our last trip, to Cancun, might wife got bit by an iguana (see linked post). The Dr bill and cost of antibiotics came to $200. I submitted it to the travel insurance, and i just got paid.
