The Shamrock Series is basically a Notre Dame recruiting gimmick. Shamrock Series games are played at alternate venues, ND wears alternate uniforms.. and it helps ND recruit different areas of the US.

Nothing about this game is about BYU... other than BYU was invited to play in it.

Having said that... It's going to be a blast*


* - I'm basing this off how fun last year's Las Vegas game was against AZ. The Irish will make the crowd WAY more fun than the Wildcats did. Allegiant stadium is an amazing venue.... and it's Vegas!
