They are only our rivals in the sense that Wyoming, Colorado State and SDSU also considered BYU their rival because they hated getting beaten by BYU over and over again for many years.

Problem is ... with 9 conference games, BYU can realistically play 1 P5, 1-2 G5 (or 1 FCS) teams per year.
