2. Pliers. Just cheap ones. The fencing tool pliers was worthless to me. 3. Steel post pounder for driving the posts into the ground. 4. Shovel for digging cedar post holes. 5. A hammer for putting staples in cedar posts. 6. A good pair of leather gloves. Wire especially barbed is hard on hand and they need protection. Best wishes.
