I imagine that Baylor (as an institution) is happy to have another religious,
Private school in the mix.
Baylor really sticks to their guns. Ya, there isn't quite the honor code or ecclesiastical endorsements that BYU has, but as an institution, Baylor sticks to Baptist teachings.
They come under fire about LGBT stuff just like BYU.
However, BYU will take the majority of that heat in years to come. It will probably be a relief to Baylor to not be under the microscope all the time.
