me up from the airport but since this was pre-cell phone, all he knew was the flight was delayed and there was no new arrival time. So he went back home and went to bed, expecting me to call when I landed.

I showed up in the middle of the night and my dad slept through my call. So I used what little change I had on me to call all my cousins hoping someone would answer the phone. Luckily one cousin answered and I had to beg them to come get me in the middle of the night. Got to my folks house at the crack of dawn.

That was a loooong day traveling.
