Don't you lhave league bylawsand rules that specifically state rules for All Star selection tion, etc. Also why in the world are there 3 people keeping track of pitch.count? The official scorekeeper should have the pitch count in the scorebook.

Agreed, the bylaws should address these things. Commissioner/President can’t coach all stars unless no other candidates.

This totally happens all the time when using a paper book. Happened to AF 2 years ago. They won the state championship

The most common place the paper book messes it up is a ball batted in play. They forget to count that pitch.

I've thought the best method is at the pregame plate conference to give a ballot to the opposing coach of your top 3 kid

That works if you play in an unaffiliated league. Might as well have a bunch of all star teams.
