If the news of USC initiating this is right — I think there's a good chance
PAC politics --rather than shrewd business savvy & common (athletic) sense-- end up dictating who USC ultimately chooses to take with it to the B1G.

And I do believe the final decision will be mostly about what USC wants rather than what the current B1G wants (cuz ultimately, it all comes down to USC for them).

IF it's two more PAC teams (besides the natural partners USC & UCLA) that the B1G is ultimately interested in poaching — I think those two teams are gonna ultimately be Stanford & Cal.

As funny & stupid as that seems, I think USC is gonna go with natural loyalties, & shed itself of Oregon — who has dared to eclipse it as the PAC power school in recent years.

While the tea leaves are absolutely lost in a whirlwind at this pt, I really think that the opportunity to snatch up UO, UW, & the Arizona schools isn't nearly as crazy an idea as I was assuming it was last night.

We shall see.
