Hmm. I’d argue the opposite. A middling program that peaks at the right time
Utah was a huge winner coming out of the BCS derby. Classic rags to riches story.
How would anyone argue against that?
They used the BCS bowls to get to the most prestigious conference in the west.
Then rose to the top just as the rest of the conference declined.
Utah is about as well-positioned as possible, once again, at the most critical juncture in conference realignment.
Hard to see Utah not landing well.

It’s silly to mock Utah right now as history has shown karma HATES BYU and its fans. I’d wait to gloat after the dust
