I work in the food’s industry at the Hogle zoo and I’m just sad about one thing. At the end of everyday, ALL the food left is thrown in the trash. I understand that there are health restrictions and rules, but so much food is being wasted. There is approximately 22-33 billion pounds of food wasted each year through restaurants in the U.S. and about 38 million people are starving in the U.S. Dang it rules, rules, rules.
