WSU/OSU want to make an overture to Big12 — drop the deadweight. But they have to do it at a time that most of their members are trying to get a B1G or Big12 invitation (unlike Big12 members who aren’t worried about survival). I see no way PAC survives as a mega conference. They probably lose at least 2 more and very likely 6. Cannot just backfill with Boise and Nevada schools.
