Logically and emotionally, I think it would be best if BYU and Utah weren't in the same conference.

Emotionally, I feel like the current BYU-Utah rivalry is sick. It isn't fun or healthy, it is destructive, and it needs a chance to cool.
The best way to do that is to let Utah play somewhere else, preferably somewhere that fits the logical portion-

Utah doesn't add value to the conference to make its inclusion worthwhile. It doesn't have the market to make sense. Also, BYU and Utah will often be competing for recruits, and it is therefore in BYU's interest that Utah fades to obscurity.
