So I take your point maintaining a relationship with someone abusive is NOT required. But I'm not on board with the "screw them" reaction. I think we should look at any decision to add them to the BigXII dispassionately, and ask if it's best for us, including considering whether they're a good conf. partner or are team players. Maybe they weren't when they bolted without us. That said, if we'd been invited to the PAC back then and Utah wasn't, I'm not so sure we wouldn't have also accepted. As for now, it's not clear to me having Utah in the BigXII does help us.
