return times that aren’t too far. Grab passes for those. When the return time comes if that ride is still down, the passes will become multi experience passes you can use anywhere. Just be sure to cancel them if the ride reopens and you don’t want to ride because you can only book each ride once a day, so if you don’t cancel you can’t rebook later. Some rides will remain closed for a couple hours and you can just rack up the passes. If it’s for a popular ride, like Indiana jones or Matterhorn, you can use those passes anywhere. If it’s a lessor ride, you can use them anywhere except the most popular rides. You can even use them on rides that don’t have lightening lane.

Also, pick your favorite ride and jump in line with 5 minutes or less until closing. If you are in line at closing they will let you ride. And because all the lightening lane passes are gone for the day and the employees want to go home, they get you through quickly. We did this with rise of the resistance, the posted wait at the end of the day was 75 minutes. We were on the ride in 20. Just be careful if you are going to use this trick for rise as it usually closes at 9 pm regardless of when the park closed. When I was there in the winter, the park closed at 9 so it worked. During the summer it often closes before the park so this won’t work. But you can use it on Indiana jones, radiator springs, or whatever else is your favorite.
