They have long prided themselves on being the best conference. They have as passionate/more passionate fan bases than the B10. They have better elite teams and less bottom feeders.

Yet the next B10 Media deal is supposed to be on par with the SEC? Is that correct?

Their coup last summer is seen as on par with the recent USC/UCLA defection. Essentially that getting Oklahoma is on par with getting UCLA. (I’d say Texas/USC are a wash). I am 45 and have never known UCLA to be great, or even consistently good.

If so, it shows there is no logic to how these deals get made.
