1) the new PAC media numbers being thrown around were for $500M/ year
2) with the exit of USC and UCLA the estimated loss is 40% of the total, so now we are at $300M for 10 schools
3) breaking down by school has to be something like this
Stanford the top of the heap is rumored to only be worth $45M. Good but not BIG 10 worthy. So that is 15% of the total
UW probably the next best with good market with let’s say 15%…$45M. Rumor has it at actually less
OR worth 15%…$45 M
ASU 15% because of Phoenix $45M
UofA 10% $30M
CO/UT 7.5% each $22.5M
WState/CAL/OSU 5% each $15M
So something has to be wrong somewhere. By these numbers no leftover PAC school even makes enough to be considered for the ACC, let alone the Big12
It is no wonder the PAC is panicking
