For some, the banter is entertainment. For others, it isn't.

But the reality is that even though it's a sports station - they aren't necessarily paid to talk about sports. They are paid to be entertaining and keep people's attention long enough for large audiences to hear ads that are paying the bills.

They know their ratings and what kind of audience they are pulling in. If this stuff wrecked their audience, they wouldn't do it. Because they would lose money for the station and be kicked to the curb.
