Some people scoff at social media metrics, but they absolutely matter for brand value and relevance… especially in the current realignment environment.
Only USC and Oregon from the current PAC12 are above BYU while Utah lags at #66.
All of the data I sift through keeps brining back to the same conclusion that BYU’s brand/value/fanbase put us solidly in the 23-29 range nationally. This seems to confirm that even though it’s a small sample size.
FYI, BYU was 25th nationally in the cumulative 2019-2020 total social media interactions and 7th nationally in “interactions per follower”
