Those two have no shot at the B1G; they know it and everyone else knows it, making them the most likely to jump to the BigXII. They could be essentially trying to stats their desire to stay, but, when others who are entertaining other B1G dreams or other options don’t state the same solidarity, they can reasonably argue that they felt they had to leave, because the others couldn’t provide them assurances that they’d stick around i the PAC.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I found it interesting that it was just those 2.
