- Expanded by 2 schools (thereby diluting conference revenue share) in order to get two additional cable markets for the PAC12 Network (which was adopted like a radioactive hot potato) and a conference championship game (which you could have had with 10 teams by waiting two more seasons).

- Canceling the 2020 season due to COVID, only to reverse course when big brother Big10 decided to play, resulting in 7 games lost from the schedule and a massive revenue blow to member schools

- Failed to have the foresight to kill the Big12 by expanding in 2021, allowing them to add the best value schools outside the P5 (prolly all of whom are more individually valuable than the likes of OSU/WSU) and survive to turn the gun on your members only a year later

- Made a hand shake alliance without any official agreement with two other conferences - one of whom was no threat to do anything because of being locked into their bad TV contract, and the other who promptly went ahead and stole your lunch money the moment you turned your back.

- Failed to do anything to keep your biggest TV market from walking away right before your TV deal was up, meaning you get nothing from a grant of rights or anything on their way out.

- Still can't bring themselves to add schools that would clearly bring value and possibly flip the tables back on the Big12, because of religious bigotry and academic snobbery, despite the fact the ship has probably sailed on those chances (but heaven forbid you should actually try).

THIS is why Arizona is ready to bail. Now it just will take one more....(CU? ASU? UU? UO? UW?) and the remaining PAC8 would really have a decision to make - stay on the sinking boat, bailing water and pronouncing that everything is going to be fine, or jump on the last remaining life raft.
