The suspension was for violating the personal conduct policy which shouldn’t
Necessarily require a conviction. Even though he’ll probably buy his way out of it legally with settlements, the NFL could still have determined he did it as part of their investigation and suspend him for for violating their own policies. Not that I trust the NFL to be a moral compass either but I’m assuming that is the reasoning.
