I don't see how these two things can be true at the same time:
1) college teams are made of student amateur athletes that study and graduate at the university
2) college teams are made of professional athletes
It has to be one or the other, right? But things like the NIL rulings just made a huge turn in the direction of #2, and yet traditionally the power of college sports and the interest in it is completely based on #1.
