We could field a better team than in the last 2 years, play well, and still only win 8-9. We won and lost a lot of games last year by small margins. This year, we’re playing what could prove to be a top 2 most-difficult schedule in school history.

Even 7 wins isn’t a sky-is-falling scenario (although I have use winning 8 or more). It’s acknowledging that we are facing a lot of good and perhaps great teams + challenging games – – more than most BYU teams have had to play.
