I’m in support the offsides rule, but if it’s close enough you have to VAR they
Should err on the side of the attacker and move on. Trying to break it down to that granular level is asinine and belies the original intent of the rule. It was never meant to be measured to the nearest quarter of an inch but that’s where things seem to be headed.
