The combination of classic rock guitar drums bass vocals, plus keyboard and synthesizer, are no different than what Styx had going for them before Deyoung flew off the rails. Rock has evolved since then, but The Killers are the closest thing to a classic style rock band you’ll find since the turn of the millenium.
